I found a mini quilt club through LPQ -magazine and managed tu subscribe to it though a little late I was to the party. Now finally I got some time in my hands, and needed a distraction from an important trip coming up in just over a weeks time and started making the two mini's waiting. As usual I washed the fabric...

Managed to cut all the little diamond -shapes needed for the first mini and stripes for the second, Elizabeth I inspired fabrics. |

You can see where this is going. Looking all lovely and everything, BUT I did WASH the fabrics, and they shrunk just that little bit too much that am unable to finish... |

Luckily for me, the people in
SewHot are fantastic in customer service, even for dimbo's like me, and promised to send bit more fabric to be able to finish the mini. And add a proper warning about washing the fabric before cutting and sewing.
The second mini quilt is coming along nicely. Just realised my table is too small get cracking on it properly. Need to use our kitchen table and be able to stay awake after the kids have gone to bed to make this one.
