Kindle cover

I got my first Kindle many years ago. There was a phase I didn't use it that much (work, actual books and giving birth to babies) and had give it to my daughter to listen to books. One day sometime last year found it on the floor broken. This summer I got the urge to start reading more again and hauling millions of books didn't sound like a good idea (one never knows what you feel like reading, and books aren't light) so I made hubbie to contact a friend of his and got my new touch screen version a lot quicker than ordering it through Amazon. I have read a lot of books since getting it and love reading BBC's History -magazine on it. No fuss! Love it.

The gadget needed a cover though, and as I had been itching to try quilt as you go -meethod, tried that and a pattern from, yes, Love Patchwork and Quilting. Turned out ok. Had fun figuring out how to keep the reader in it, but did figure it out. It has worked well. Now just needs a wash after heavy use.
